Ann Fowler - RN, Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Chronic and Complex Wounds Director of Fowler Wound Consultancy (Master Wound Management Monash. Grad Cert Community Health, G Cert Pain Management).
Ann has over 20 years of experience as a wound consultant in acute and primary care settings, including establishing a successful multi-disciplinary wound clinic in Coffs Harbour in 2009. Her wound educational journey has seen Ann work within and visit many varieties of health disciplines involved in wound care across the globe, further feeding her passion for building a collaborative and improved health journey for patients with complex wounds, but also a collaborative and empowered space for clinicians wishing to further their own wound care journey.
Dr Hilton Beck - MBBCh FRACGP M Med (Skin Cancer).
Dr Beck trained in Johannesburg. He has significant experience in Orthopaedics and Trauma, both in South Africa and the UK, emergency medicine in Australia and General Practice. He then decided on sub specializing in skin cancer medicine which has been his focus for the past 20 years. Dr Beck has a strong interest in wound management and is passionate about a holistic approach to this complex health issue

ABOUT THE DAY
This is a focused two day workshop to give clinicians a theoretical knowledge-based background on Debridement and a hands-on skills workshop for Conservative Sharp Wound Debridement. There will also be quiz, learning activities and case studies, and multiple opportunities for questions and answers. To register for this workshop, it is recommended that you be an existing health professional, (RN, NP, Podiatrist, Doctor) currently working in the arena of wound care and performing wound care procedures at least weekly. Please be aware that this education does not endorse you to carry out Conservative Sharp Wound Debridement, that is up to your organizational policy. However, it does provide you with the knowledge and skills to apply for competency and endorsement within your organization, dependent on organizational policy.
